01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Should you have curry, or enjoy gyūmeshi as well? Matsuya’s Sōgyō Beef Curry Gyū lets you work your way through two flavours in one dish. Diners who ordered this combination enjoyed switching between the curry and gyūmeshi, or combining them with the rice. It’s a good option when you want curry to take centre stage but would also like the beef from gyūmeshi.

The menu lists Sōgyō Beef Curry on its own, as well as Sōgyō Beef Curry Gyū, which pairs it with gyūmeshi. Choose between a simple curry or the combination. Alongside the classic gyūmeshi, there are options such as grated daikon and ponzu gyūmeshi and kimchi gyūmeshi. Whether you’re in the mood for a familiar bowl or something lighter and tangier, or with a different flavour, the range offers room to choose.

Breakfast and lunch menus are available, and the restaurant information lists it as open 24 hours a day. That makes it an option from breakfast through to a late meal. Dine in, or order takeaway or delivery.
